A passionate advocate for social value and sustainable development, Janine Jasper founded The Morris Consultancy in 2017 to help developers in London and the South East inform positive construction through unrivalled community engagement.

We believe that by bringing developers, community stakeholders and neighbours together through meaningful engagement, we can create a shared understanding of local needs to guide community-minded construction.

The Morris Way

Since most of our business comes from repeat clients and word-of-mouth referral, we understand the importance of reputation. We’re trusted by industry leaders including British Land, Mace Developments, Elysian Residences, and Westferry Developments to give voice to their values, engage communities in collaborative consultation, and deepen relationships through ongoing community liaison.

Formerly the CEO of Croydon Commitment, a charity focused on linking businesses with their communities, Janine draws on her strong links to the third sector to put social value at the forefront of everything we do at The Morris Consultancy.

Through our connections with local authority regeneration teams, we’re experienced in developing strategies to boost employment, apprenticeship, and skill-building opportunities locally, fulfilling S106 commitments in a meaningful and sustainable way. Our partnerships with charities help us to deepen positive social impact by creating accessible programmes for vulnerable local residents and ex-offenders, supporting them to discover a career in construction and gain practical on-site experience.

With more than ten years’ experience working with some of the UK’s biggest developers, we balance our commitment to social value with a deep understanding of the construction industry – and the sometimes fraught political dimensions involved.
